This very beautiful gold bow with a tortoiseshell frog was made around 1970 by K. Gerhard Penzel. The piece of leather on the frog was attached for protection.
It produces a powerful, brilliant tone and is flexible in handling.
Dark octagonal pernambuco stick with a finely crafted tip, mammoth headplate.

The bow has a brand stamp and is sold with a certificate of authenticity from Matthias Penzel and a CITES certificate for resale within the EU.
