BEETHOVEN AWARD – an established international online music competition with 4 successful editions and laureates from 40+ countries. Open to musicians of all ages and nationalities: all instruments, voice, chamber ensembles, conductors and composers. Free choice of repertoire – Beethoven is not required.

FREE Preliminary Round – submit a video with no entry fee. Selected candidates may choose to enter the paid Final Round. Every finalist receives a prize level determined by the international jury.

This competition appears to include an online round that charges over €35. musicalchairs is concerned that the fee for online judging must be commensurate with the value offered to applicants whether they are successful or unsuccessful. Is the Jury for the online round published and are they widely respected musicians?
Does each Jury member listen to the submissions in full?
Do applicants receive detailed and considered feedback about their complete performance/score from the Jury?
