Chianti in Musica 2026

Chianti in Musica has taken place every summer since 2006 in San Donato in Poggio, a medieval village halfway between Florence and Siena, in the scenic Tuscan countryside, and has offered instrumental and ensemble music courses and concerts. San Donato is on the list of Italy's Most Beautiful Villages and offers the possibility to experience life in a picturesque Tuscany village.
Chianti in Musica 2026 will feature courses in flute, oboe, clarinet, violin, viola, cello, guitar, piano, and choir from 23 to 29 August.
The courses consist of one individual lesson per day and promote the formation of chamber groups. All teachers are internationally renowned and teach at Italian conservatories and international academies. A piano accompanist is also present. The choir course is open to musicians and amateurs, even without musical knowledge.
Student concerts are held in the Gothic church every day in the late afternoon.
A canteen is available to students and teachers at lunchtime.
