Interpretation for Orchestra Instrument/Piano/Organ 2 (MA level)

This course is a continuation of Interpretation for Orchestra Instrument/ Piano/ Organ, In-depth Studies 1. It gives you an opportunity to further develop your ability as an orchestra musician, pianist or organist and to problematise different stylistic characteristics.

The course includes instrumental studies and chamber music in which you can delve deeper in your artistic work with the repertoire of the course. You will progress from identifying and utilising stylistic characteristics in the repertoire to problematising them and your artistic choices. In this course, as in its predecessor, those who play an orchestra instrument will get to take part in joint productions with students in the graduate program for symphonic orchestra performance and in instrument-specific ensembles.
