Muramatsu DS RBE heavy C# Pre-owned

I’m regretfully selling this exceptional flute which is close to my heart, due to upgrading to a new instrument. This flute has an open, warm sound with good projection. The heavy wall brings a rich and sophisticated quality and a secure playing experience. One thing that always impressed me was the superior resonance, flexibility and response. This Muramatsu DS saw me through all my performance degrees and 11 years of professional orchestral playing thereafter. Since purchasing it new from Flute Tree in 2007 it received an annual COA and in 2015 was overhauled at Musik Bertram in Freiburg, Germany. In the 16 years I played on this flute it never once had a mechanical fault. After receiving a full overhaul in November 2023 by Daniel Braben at Gabriel Vatavu Brass & Woodwind Repairs which included replacing all pads, key felts and head joint cork, it is in new playing condition. A new case, cleaning rod and swab are included.
