Assistant Orchestra Manager

The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra – the UK’s oldest – is a critically-acclaimed ensemble, central to Liverpool’s cultural offering. We’re currently recruiting an Assistant Orchestra Manager to co-ordinate and oversee the day-to-day running of the Orchestra and associated ensembles. You’ll help deliver all orchestra activity to the highest possible standard, making logistical and practical arrangements such as creating contracts, organising travel and the hire of freelance players. You’ll assist in orchestra recruitment, and cultivate strong relationships with our musicians, coordinating their activity and serving as a first point of contact. If you’re an extremely organised communicator, with a strong knowledge of the workings of a symphony orchestra and the ability to work under pressure, we’d love to hear from you.
