Executive Director

Birmingham Contemporary Music Group (BCMG) is one of the world’s leading new music ensembles whose critically-acclaimed work includes concerts, tours, new music commissions and learning and participation programmes.

BCMG is seeking an experienced, dynamic and organised Executive Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing planning and production of an ambitious artistic, commissioning and performance programme, working with composers and musicians and developing collaborative partnerships both within the UK and abroad.

This role encompasses many aspects of the day-to-day running of the business, including strategic planning, overall development of the company and its future activity plans. You will be responsible for the production of all artistic projects, developing annual budgets and overseeing fundraising plans, HR, support for the staff team and musicians, supporting the Board and building an audience development strategy. This is a leadership position working closely alongside the Artistic Director to manage operations of the business, nurture the culture of the organisation and look ahead to the future.

Salary: In the region of £38,000 to £43,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
