3rd Edition
for beautiful and original music with a tonal basis
NO ENTRY FEE
An Award of £5000 will be given for a one-movement work of any duration for Symphonic Orchestra.
The Award has the purpose of encouraging young composers to create a beautiful, new, free-thinking and personal symphonic work with a tonal basis. The music can be a stand-alone work or a movement from a Symphony that makes sense by itself. Solo Concertos or Theme and separate Variations are not accepted.
Maximum size:
3.3.3.3 - 4.3.3.1 - Harp - Piano - Timp. - Perc. - Strings.
Eligibility
The selection is open to composers of all nationalities, over the age of 18 and under 30 on the 15th of October 2026.
