Amadeus Piano Competition for Young Pianists

AMADEUS Brno is an international piano competition for young pianists, held annually in the historic Besední dům concert hall in Brno, Czech Republic. The competition focuses on the interpretation of W. A. Mozart and Classical repertoire and attracts talented young musicians from across Europe. Known for its inspiring atmosphere and high artistic level, AMADEUS connects young pianists, teachers and internationally respected jurors.
From 2026, the competition is organized in cooperation with the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts (JAMU) and introduces new piano concerto categories. The winners will perform their concertos at the Laureates’ Concert with a professional string quartet.
The Winners receives a together 70,000 CZK prize and the opportunity to perform as a soloist with the Brno Philharmonic Orchestra.
