Conducting Summer Program July 2026, Gleeson Conducting Institute

This program is a rigorous mentorship for the advancing conductor, directed by international conductor and educator Derek Gleeson. It is a dedicated immersion in the technical and artistic disciplines of the podium—from baton technique and score analysis to the nuance of productive rehearsal.

Participants work closely with an esteemed faculty of practicing maestros, including Vincent de Kort, Christo Pavlov, and Niki Petrov, and engage in daily sessions with the international professional musicians of the Vratsa Symphony Orchestra.

The curriculum is designed to forge the confidence and authoritative presence required to lead. Through intensive, personalized podium time, it is a decisive step in the transition from student to professional conductor. To secure one of only twelve available places in this exclusive program, a deposit of 500 euros is required upon acceptance.
