Prof. Thomas Riebl, Viola
Born in 1956 in Vienna, Thomas Riebl is an internationally renowned musician and professor. He won numerous prizes, including first prize at the Naumburg Competition in New York. As a soloist and chamber musician, he has performed on numerous prestigious stages around the world, including at Carnegie Hall and the Wiener Musikverein. He was a member of the Franz-Schubert Quartet and a founding member of the Vienna String Sextet. Since 1983, he has been a professor at the Mozarteum University Salzburg and gives numerous masterclasses worldwide.
