State Opera - Plovdiv announces audition for concertmaster (violin)
(1年契約)
Requirements for applicants:
1. Completed higher music education.
2. Experience and practice in ensemble music making.
AUDITION PROCESS
There is no application deadline, proposals are accepted until the position is filled.
STAGE 1: VIDEO RECORDING
1. An unedited video recording of you performing:
- First movement of a violin concerto by Mozart (with cadenza)
- One part of a large romantic concerto of your choice (with cadenza)
2. Unedited video recording of 3 -5 orchestral solos (your choice) by
- Rimsky-Korsakov "Scheherazade"
- Rimsky - Korsakov "Spanish Capriccio"
-Tchaikovsky – "Swan Lake"
3. Brief CV

STAGE 2: PRESENCE AUDITION IN BULGARIA
STAGE 3: PROBATION PERIOD
Successful candidates will be invited on a paid trial period of 6 months.
Please note that only selected applicants will receive a response and feedback. Opera Plovdiv supports non-EU candidates with work permits.
JOB DETAILS
The PLOVDIV OPERA repertoire includes opera and ballet performances, symphonic programs, genre concerts and musicals.
Plovdiv is one of the oldest cities in Europe. Every summer, OPERA PLOVDIV holds the OPERA OPEN festival on an open stage in the city's emblematic Ancient Theatre.
Salary: To be negotiated with the candidate.
