Tuba Player

Dear applicant

The Prince of Denmark Air Force Band is a versatile modern brass ensemble with the Danish Defence consisting of 14 brass and 2 percussion. The job requires You to play both F/Eb tuba and C/Bb tuba in various setting including classical, jazz, pop and more. We have the pleasure to work with great national and international soloists and conductors in concert all over Denmark and on occasional tours abroad.

You will have plenty of opportunity to influence in the orchestra as we encourage you to play solo or produce project ect. according to Your musical qualities and abilities.

Audition date 18th and 19th of august in Denmark. Application closes the 17th of June.

1st round: Vaughan Williams Concerto 1st mov. (edition: Oxford University Press) and Hindemith Sonata 1st mov. (edition: Schott)
2nd and 3rd round: Excerpts with section and whole ensemble.

1st and 2nd round will be played at Viborg Musiksal, Gravene 25, Viborg on the 18th of August. 3rd round will be played at Skive Kaserne, Sdr. Boulevard 15, Skive on the 19th of August.

Salary and rights according to the current regulations regarding musicians in the Danish Defence. Working language: Danish and English.
