Audition date: Friday 15 May & Saturday 16 May 2026, Applicants must be available from 10am–4:30pm both days
Applications close: Thursday 16 April 5pm AEST
Recorded auditions due: Wednesday 13 May 5pm AEST
Eligibility: This audition is open to Australian & New Zealand Citizens, and
Australian Permanent Residents only
Set Repertoire
Applicants must prepare two set works and orchestral excerpts:
1. Richard Strauss - Horn Concerto No.1 - 1st movement
2. Mozart – Horn Concerto No. 4 - 1st movement (with cadenza)
3. Orchestral Excerpts publish date: Friday 17 April 2026
