Beautiful mid 7000 series heckel, world system.
This instrument was played professionally in mainland Europe for many years by a former principal bassoon, then played professionally in the UK. The world system is very intuitive and personally I find the lower register easier with this system, only the lowest 3 notes use different keys, the rest of the instrument is entirely German system.
The bassoon features French crook key (LH 5), various trill keys, double Eb key and rollers.
The high range is exceptional and intonation is even and easy to be precise.
The bassoon comes with a choice of crooks including CD1 XL, CC0, CC1 XL, Leitzinger ZF2 and Fox CVX 2. Please note for more than one crook the price will vary but you are welcome to experiment with them all.
Original heckel balance hanger included and original heckel case as option.
Numerous recordings on this bassoon available to listen to.
Available to try in London, possibly the US and elsewhere by arrangement.
