For sale: a Heckel bassoon, serial number #104XX
The instrument has been played in an orchestra throughout its entire life and has been well cared for. It offers a beautifully full, round sound – exactly what one expects from the 10X series. Response and intonation are exceptionally pleasant and reliable.
It is still equipped with the “old” Viennese piano mechanism” (without connection to the E key). This has deliberately not been modified in order to provide maximum flexibility for future owners.
Included in the price are three Heckel bocals:
CDV1, CDV0, and CD1.
The instrument comes with an older case (not a gig bag with backpack straps).
Viewing and trial playing are possible in Vienna by appointment.
The instrument will not be shipped.
