Professor of Classical Piano with Specific Responsibilities in Artistic Research and Development

Scope and Academic Field of the Position
This is a 50 percent permanent position, with a start date of August 1, 2027.
The academic field of the position is classical piano, with a specific focus on work related to the institution's R&D activities. Responsibilities include teaching and mentoring piano students, collaborating with colleagues in artistic research and development, and administrative tasks related to academic activities.
Teaching and Mentoring
The position involves teaching piano at the bachelor's, master's, and potentially artistic diploma levels in accordance with current curricula. The position may also include teaching at lower age levels.
Additionally, part of the position involves project development and dissemination of artistic and pedagogical research and development, with an emphasis on the classical music field. Mentoring within artistic research and development for both master's and bachelor's students may be required, along with supervision at the Ph.D. level.
Other potential responsibilities include participation in committees for the evaluation of doctoral degrees in artistic research and involvement in the assessment of artistic research.
The appointed candidate is expected to take the initiative to plan and lead seminars and courses within their field in collaboration with other faculty members. They will also participate in the preparation and execution of the institution's admissions tests and examinations, including involvement in the admissions process for the artistic doctoral program.
Weekly presence at the institution is required.
