For most pianists, the opportunity to perform a full concerto with an orchestra is rare. The Blue-T Concerto Competition exists to offer exactly that experience.

Unlike traditional competitions built around elimination rounds, Blue-T focuses on a genuine concert experience. Participants perform with a full orchestra at Yokohama Minato Mirai Hall, a concert hall dedicated to classical music, located approximately 30 minutes from Tokyo.

You may perform a concerto in full or a single movement — both are welcome. As the orchestra's instrumentation is fixed, any additional or missing parts required for your chosen work will be arranged by our conductor and composer, Takashi Niigaki.

Open to pianists of any age, nationality, and level — professional, amateur, or student — from around the world.
