The friendliest music competition for violin, piano, and chamber music in Europe, held in the beautiful city of Piran, Slovenia.
The competition will take place in Piran (Slovenia) from 29th to 31st May 2026. The Grand Prize Winners’ Concert will be held at Tartini Theatre on Sunday, 31st May 2026.
The competition is open to all young musicians (violinists and pianists) of all nationalities. It is divided into four sections: Violin Solo, Piano Solo, Piano Four Hands, and Chamber Music (for strings with piano or strings without piano).
Special Program Feature:
The competition supports the compositional creativity of young people. Competitors may perform their own original piece (optional) in every discipline.
The number of participants is limited to approximately 70 competitors in the Violin category, 70 in the Piano category, up to 20 chamber ensembles, and up to 20 piano duets in the Piano Four Hands category.
