Split International Music Competition 2026

1st part - PIANO (February/March 2026)
2nd part - CELLO, SAXOPHONE and GUITAR (September 2026)
Split International Music Competition 2026 brings outstanding young performers to the Adriatic city of Split for a high-level international contest in piano, cello, saxophone and guitar. Open to musicians up to 32 years of age, SIMC offers a transparent, jury-driven competition structure designed to identify artistic excellence, technical mastery and individuality.
Each discipline features a multi-round format, including live rounds in Split and, for selected categories, preliminary video screening. Repertoire is artist-selected within defined guidelines, allowing competitors to demonstrate stylistic breadth, virtuosity and musical depth. Croatian composers are actively encouraged across all categories, celebrating the country’s rich contemporary and classical heritage.
Winners receive cash prizes of up to €3,000, professional audio-video recordings, etc.
