"GIUSEPPE FIORINI" INTERNATIONAL VIOLIN PERFORMANCE COMPETITION

1st edition of the "Giuseppe Fiorini Violin Performance Competition", held within the 40th edition of the Corti, Chiese e Cortili Festival in Valsamoggia (Bologna, Italy).
The jury will be chaired by the violinist Laura Marzadori, concertmaster of the orchestra of Teatro alla Scala.
The competition is open to Italian and international violinists born on or after 1 January 1991 who will be at least 18 years old on 20 June 2026.
Preliminary round: video submission (one Caprice from the 24 Caprices Op.1 by Niccolò Paganini).
Up to 8 semifinalists will perform live on 20 June 2026 at the Rocca dei Bentivoglio; 3 finalists will perform in a public concert on 21 June 2026 within the festival.
Prizes:
1st prize €1000 + concert invitations in the 2027 Corti, Chiese e Cortili Festival and the 2027 season of Orchestra Senzaspine
2nd prize €500
3rd prize €250
