Selling this exquisite English 1730 violin labelled ‘Vincenzo Trusiano Panormo'. The instrument is in excellent condition and has recently undergone a professional setup adjustment. This violin was used by me (Dr Sofia Yatsyuk) throughout my professional career, including concerts at Wigmore Hall, Carnegie Hall, and various international solo performances with orchestra.
The uniquely dark warmth and depth of sound, powerful projection, and full-bodied tone is what makes this violin such rare find, boasting a remarkable soloist tone, full of exceptionally rare character. The instrument comes with a certificate of authenticity from Florian Leonhard Fine Violins (which I am happy to share upon request) and has recently undergone a dendrochronological analysis, dating it to the 1730s.
Exceptionally well behaved with how it handles humidity, temperature, and altitude changes. Ideal for professionals and advanced students, but will adapt well to any level of playing!
