The Royal College of Music is seeking to engage a Website Manager (Maternity Cover) to join its Marketing & Communications Team. As an innovative institution, we are looking for someone who shares our passion for imaginative work in the digital sphere.
This is a fixed-term, hybrid role providing maternity cover, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to the RCM’s digital presence during a key period.
You will be adept at managing websites in a complex institution and be an experienced, proactive person with a broad understanding of web technologies and practices, including SEO, performance, security, code quality, and UI/UX; as well as excellent copywriting and project management skills. Applicants should also be confident using data to inform decisions, and have an interest in the potential of AI tools to enhance content, workflows and user engagement.
The Website Manager will play a critical role in developing and optimising the RCM website so that it becomes the very best digital representation of all that the RCM has to offer, and supports the recruitment of high-quality students from across the world. The successful candidate will enjoy finding creative solutions to technical challenges and be excited at the prospect of a varied workload in an environment of unparalleled musical riches.
Founded in 1882, the RCM is a world leading music conservatoire with a prestigious history and contemporary outlook.
