This five-day intensive course is for young popular musicians aged 12-18 who are looking to grow their individual and collaborative music-making skills in a supportive environment. Course participants will work alongside tutors who are active recording and touring musicians, and look to develop their own practice and artistic identity.
The course is for young people who may already be writing their own music, who want to start, or who want to gain experience of contributing to other material through arrangement, programming or audio production.
The course offers an authentic, lived experience of practical popular musicianship, instilling a DIY ethos that should equip young musicians to continue developing their own practice, and facilitate their own collaborative projects after the course has finished.
