Masterclass - Tango for strings

Guillermo Rubino – Argentine Tango Violinist and Teacher
Member of the Orquesta Escuela de Tango Emilio Balcarce and winner of the 25th Annual Latin GRAMMY Award will be holding a masterclass at Berlin.
An immersive experience for string musicians!
Participants will take part in workshops, rehearsals, and a final concert, exploring Argentine tango rhythms, musical subtleties, and the fusion of traditional and contemporary elements in string performance.
Language of instruction: English.
Program includes:
• Traditional tango
• Piazzolla
• Argentine folklore
• Contemporary tango
• Daily tango technique classes
When: October 8–11, 2025
(Final day: lecture by Guillermo Rubino + concert with participants)
Where: Nou Tango Berlin
Participation fee: €400
Places are limited.
Open to violinists, violists, cellists, and double bassists.
Eligibility:
• Currently studying one of the instruments, or
• Graduated in one of the instruments, or
• Skilled amateurs (v
