Belgrade Baroque Academy is delighted to announce its next major operatic project for early 2026 – G. F. Handel’s Siroe, re di Persia.
The jubilee 25th Belgrade Baroque Academy will take place from 27 February to 8 March 2026, culminating in two semi-staged performances.
We seek advanced singers for all principal roles (Siroe, Cosroe, Medarse, Emira, Laodice) as well as skilled baroque instrumentalists for this intensive, performance-led academy.
The project builds on the success of productions of Rinaldo, Giulio Cesare and Alcina. Musical direction and vocal coaching will be led by Predrag Gosta. Instrumental coaching will be provided by Bojan Čičić, alongside members of the award-winning period-instrument ensemble New Trinity Baroque. Other coaches include Sreten Manojlović, Sandro Rossi, Radoslava Vorgić, and others.
Tuition Fee: £500–1000, with scholarships available. We invite young, passionate, advanced singers & instrumentalists to apply.
