I Suoni dei Borghi - Cello Masterclass with Mario Brunello

Applications are open for the 2026 edition of “I Suoni dei Borghi”, the cello masterclass led by internationally renowned cellist Mario Brunello, taking place in San Ginesio (Italy) from 3 to 8 August 2026.
Set in the Sibillini Mountains (central Italy), the course combines high-level musical training with an informal and international atmosphere. Participants take part in individual lessons, chamber music activities and concerts, while also sharing walks, cultural experiences and everyday life in one of Italy’s most beautiful historic hill towns.
Two programmes are available: an advanced course for young cellists in professional training and the “9–99” programme, open to amateur musicians of all ages and backgrounds.
Over the years, the masterclass has welcomed participants from across Europe, as well as from Japan and South America, creating a vibrant community where music, culture and human exchange come together.
Application deadline: 30 June 2026.
