Prof. Maria Egelhof, a professor at the Music University of Lübeck earned her soloist diploma (première prix) under Prof. Yfrah Neamann at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London, and completed her artist diploma at the Music University of Saarbrücken under Prof. Ulrike Dierick. The outstanding artist has won numerous national and international awards and scholarships and began her concert career early, performing as a soloist and chamber musician with renowned symphonies across Europe, as well as leading many masterclasses. She is a sought-after soloist and chamber musician at international music festivals, featured in TV, radio, and CD productions. Her students have achieved success as soloists and ensemble players worldwide. She is also known for her editorial work with Schott-Verlag, e.g. the Violin Etudes by R. Kreutzer (n. ed.)
