(full-time, permanent)
Salary range of AUD$106,188 - $111,019 per annum plus 12% superannuation.
This position is open to Australian and New Zealand citizens and those with Australian permanent residency status.
Permanent full time, subject to successful completion of a 2-week pre-trial and 6-month trial period.

Selection Process
Interested musicians are required to submit their expressions of interest (EOI). Applications must include a current CV detailing relevant professional experience, contact details, and a video recording of solo and/or chamber music (minimum 5 minutes length, from the last 12 months).
Successful applicants will be invited to complete a 2-week pre-trial with the orchestra. In addition to orchestral duties during this time, candidates will perform a recital to members of QSO. This will be scheduled in advance. The recital may include:
•Excerpt of a set concerto
•5-8-minute own choice piece
•Orchestral excerpts
•Chamber music where appropriate
Candidates will be informed of results once all pre-trials have been completed. A full trial may be awarded to preferred candidate.
