Suitable candidates may be offered 4th chair non-rotating Second Violin or a tutti position
Tenure track positions
International auditions are scheduled for May 12-14, 2026
The 2026/27 forty-three week season includes a minimum weekly scale fee of $2,529.77. Five of these weeks are paid non-service weeks, with one additional vacation week and 2 string relief weeks.
Other benefits: Long-term disability insurance, sick leave, 10% CFM-Musicians Pension Fund of Canada contribution.
Application Process
All applications shall be through Muvac. The process involves creating a free account and adding your resume details to your profile. When you submit your TSO audition application, you will be prompted to submit valid credit card information for a $100 (CDN) refundable application deposit. Your card will only be charged in the case of a no-show or a cancellation after the confirmation deadline (April 13).
Please note, applicants may be required to submit a supplementary recording as part of their application. Those applicants who are required to submit a recording will be informed shortly after the application deadline.
