Co-principal trumpet, permanent position, 75%
(part-time, permanent)
We are now looking for trumpet co-principal, 75% permanent position with trial period.
The audition will take place following personal invitation on June 4th 2026 at Västerås Concert Hall / Västerås Konserthus, Lilla salen.
Compulsory works:
• J Haydn Concerto for trumpet in Eb-major, 1st movement (without cadenza) and 2nd movement. To be played on Bb-flat trumpet.
• orchestral excerpts
Please note: A new Swedish law requires either a Swedish work permit or citizenship of a country within the European Union for eligibility for employment in Sweden. We are therefore unable to accept applicants from outside of the European Union since the part-time salary we offer does not qualify applicants for a work permit.
