Double Bass:
English Double Bass by Cyril McArthur
Price: £9000
A beautiful 3/4 size bass made by the English maker Cyril McArthur in c1982.
The bass has sloping shoulders and is very easy to play. It was set up by Martin Lawrence. This was my bass through music college and would be ideal for someone at a similar stage. It is great for playing concertos on!
It has a very direct pizz and is great for pit work.
It has had no issues or work since I bought it (a long time ago!) and is in excellent condition. I will sell with a bespoke soft padded case.
