Hey lovely flute community!
I'm parting ways with my beloved Haynes Platinum headjoint—a decision that wasn’t easy to make. This headjoint has such a unique sound—full of personality and charm—and it has played a big role in getting me into my top-choice master’s programs and helping me grow tremendously in my career.
I custom-built this headjoint through Haynes in 2023, and it originally cost me $10,000. I’m offering it now in like-new condition for $9,500 (negotiable).
This particular headjoint is special: unlike the standard version, it features a silver lip plate and a 14k gold riser, rather than the usual 14k lip plate.
If you’re interested in a trial, I’d be happy to ship it out—shipping costs to be covered by the tester. I am based in California.
