Double Bass:
1970s Karl Höfner double bass w/ Removable Neck
Price: 5200 €
* A Karl Höfner double bass made in the 1970s. Size 3/4. Fully Curved.
* I am the second owner. The first owner bought it new in Japan in 1979. The label states it was made in West Germany.
* Modified to a removable neck system in 2010. Parts were purchased from the renowned French luthier Patric Charlton (deceased), and the work was done at a workshop in Japan.
* The bridge does not have adjusters, but the action can be easily set by adjusting the angle when attaching the neck.
* String Length is 105.5cm.
* Since I purchased this bass, there have been no major issues with the body or the removable neck system.
* The neck will be detached for shipping.
* Strings and case are not included.
