Fine ltalian Composite Violin by Carlo Giuseppe Testore circa 1720 and Gaetano Antoniazzi circa 1870

Fine Italian composite violin made by Carlo Giuseppe Testore circa 1720 and Gaetano Antoniazzi circa 1870. The table is made by Gaetano Antoniazzi circa 1870 from a very old piece of spruce dating from 1673 according to the dendro report. The pegbox and neck are also made by Gaetano Antoniazzi. The volute of the scroll is made by Carlo Giuseppe Testore circa 1720.The ribs and back are possibly by Carlo Ferdinand Landolfi Circa 1750.
This violin has been fully restored by John Topham in 2023.John Topham also did the dendro report.This violin is in excellent playing condition producing beautiful tone.
