Fine English violin attributed to Bernard Simon Fendt II (London, c.1825), accompanied by a certificate from Kenneth Warren & Son, Chicago.

Elegant model with balanced proportions and graceful outline. Notably light (approx. 385g), offering ease of play and a responsive, articulate feel, with a refined and balanced playing experience.

One-piece maple back; spruce top with fine, even grain. Warm red-orange brown varnish over a golden ground. Branded “Betts” at the lower rib, as noted in the certificate.

Good overall condition. Professionally examined and found to be structurally sound, with typical wear consistent with age.

Suitable for advanced students and professional players.

Located in Frankfurt and available for trial upon request.
