An Award of £5000 will be given for a one movement work of any duration for Symphonic Orchestra.
Maximum size:
3.3.3.3 - 4.3.3.1 - Harp - Piano - Timp. - Perc. - Strings.
The music can be a stand-alone work or a movement from a Symphony which makes sense by itself. The Award has the purpose of encouraging young composers to recreate a new, free and personal symphonic thought with a Tonal Basis.
Eligibility
The selection is open to composers of all nationalities, over the age of 18 and not above 30.
