23rd International Georg Philipp Telemann Violin Competition

The International Georg Philipp Telemann Violin Competition has taken place annually since 2004 year in Poznań, Poland. The 23rd edition of the competition will take place on June 27th – 29th, 2026.
The 23rd edition is eligible to students violinists born later than December 31st, 2007 (with a date of birth in 2008 and younger).
There are two stages to the competition.
In Stage I, contestants perform one of the 12 Fantasias for Violin without Bass by Georg Philipp Telemann and one piece of the contestant’s own choice for violin with piano or solo violin.
In Stage II, contestants perform the first or the second and third movements of any chosen violin concerto.
Registration is open till March 15th, 2026.
