Italian Cello (Naples, ca.1820)

Beautiful Italian Cello, had been attributed to Lorenzo Ventapane. (Sold as unnamed Italian now)
Played professionally for the past 18 years in groups such as the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and many others, strung with both metal and gut strings.
No huge bass, but a wonderful and distinctly Italian sound, and it carries beautifully in large halls.
