One thing is for certain: this bow ist no featherweight, boasting 85.37 gr. and a CoM at 9.60" (length: 71.7cm). With the right physical proportions, sufficient strength in the bowing arm/hand and/or a large instrument, this bow might very well help realise your full potential.
Choice octagonal pernambuco wood; fully silver-mounted ebony frog with Parisian eye and two silver rings on the button.

Kurt SCHÄFFNER (1929‒2005) was an apprentice at the renowned H. R. PFRETZSCHNER's workshop from 1943 to 1946. After graduation, he continued to work for the PFRETZSCHNER workshop that H. R.'s sons, Richard Hermann & Berthold Walter, had taken over in 1914. In 1990, he opened his own workshop & carried on making coveted bows. In 1998, his son Dietmar ‒ representing the 5th generation ‒ followed in his footsteps.
