This is a brilliant example of my very successful 'small' viola model.
Loosely based on Gasparo da Salò "Kievman" viola, it has a short string length of 351mm. Despite the small body and string length, deep ribs and high arching allow a 'big sound'. It is particularly suitable for violists of small size / small hands and those recovering from injuries in the left arm. Also suitable when one wishes to downsize. The instrument boats top quality split Alpine spruce and English poplar giving it this very deep sound with a lot of colours to explore. I used unpigmanted oil varnish that I make myself and a signature inlaid of my own design using traditional techniques. Every parts of the instrument is made with care by hand and by myself only as I work alone.
Trial periods are 10 days and I usually hand deliver my instruments.
