Buffet Crampon R-13 Bb and A Clarinets in double case

Stolen: 10 Jun 2016 - 12:00 midnight - Los Angeles

Description of Instrument:
Buffet Crampon R-13 Bb and A clarinets in double-case lost/stolen while commuting on LA Metro (Expo/Blue lines) from Culver City to Long Beach. Bb instrument has serial number 161060 and is older with worn out logos. Purchased new in 1976 and 1981 at RDG Woodwinds (whose label is affixed to the inside of the case). Included in case were a handmade Jim Kanter mouthpiece with BG ligature, reeds (mostly VanDoren 5 or 4), 4-5 reedguards, clipper, shaving knife, black silk swab, pencils, screwdriver set. Music tucked inside the case-cover includes concertos of Copland, Weber 1+2, Mozart, Hindemith, the two Brahms Sonatas and Clarinet Quintet (all parts), Sonatas by Poulenc, Hindemith, and Saint-Saens.
