Theory and Aural Skills Teacher
The Muscat Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Opera Choir Group with The Royal Guard of Oman is looking for a theory and aural skills teacher.
Duties will include general instruction in music theory, harmony & analysis, and aural training, and specifically, preparation for Trinity Music Theory exams, to Grade 8 and Diploma level.
Keyboard skills are assumed, with the ability to accompany instrumental and vocal students to a high level welcome though not necessary.
The RGO offers a tax-free salary, basic health-coverage, an allowance towards housing and utilities, a paid two-month vacation in the summer, and an annual return-flight to the candidate's home country.
