Executive Director

The USA International Harp Competition is a triennial performance competition held at IU in Bloomington, IN. The ED will provide dynamic leadership and direct the management, planning, and fundraising activities. The ED will be instrumental in directing all the programs: the solo harp competition, the triennial composition contest, the annual Concert Series, and education and outreach through our Harp Start and Ambassador programs. A bachelor's degree is required, with a master's degree a plus. At least three years of successful leadership, management, and fundraising experience are preferred as is prior experience managing a nonprofit. Excellent office management, technical savvy and fluent communication skills will be essential to success. A background in classical and new music performance and arts administration is preferred. Successful candidate must relocate to Bloomington, IN, though some tasks can be completed remotely.
