2nd International Composition Competition for Symphonic Flamenco

The goal of the competition is to give visibility and relevance to a minority repertoire such as symphonic flamenco, as well as to contribute quality and originality to this repertoire by delving into the flamenco tradition to project it towards a symphonic future.

Prizes: Winner: 6.000 €, edition and premiere of the work by the OSFE (Flamenco Symphony Orchestra of Spain) in november 2026
Extraordinary mention: 2.000 € / Special Mention: 1.000 €

Quality, difficulty, originality, innovation and rhythmic cuts for dancing (in coherence with flamenco styles used on the work) will be evaluated. It is remembered that works on Andalusian style or Spanish inspiration will not be accepted; only will be evaluated works based properly on flamenco styles (soleares, caña, alegrías, fandango, bulerías, peteneras… or any combination of flamenco styles)
The works submitted must be original.
No arrangements are allowed.
