"We created this international violin competition in June 2013. It has been organized annually for the past 13 years by the "Musique et Partage en Couserans" association, its president, Anne Gaudibert, and a team of passionate and wonderful volunteers.
I wanted to create a welcoming gathering for young violinists. The world of classical music, and the violin in particular, is a very harsh human environment. In my career, I missed warmth and kindness. In art, it's not just what you do that is judged, but also what you are, since your inner being is intimately linked to artistic expression".
