ADOC, Friends of the Opera of Santiago de Compostela, is pleased to announce the 9th edition of the “Compostela Lírica” International Singing Competition, to be held on 4 and 5 December 2026 at the Auditorio de Galicia in Santiago de Compostela.
The competition aims to contribute to the artistic development of young singers, providing them with opportunities to gain experience in professional environments through recitals, collaborations with orchestras, and participation in opera productions.
From among all applications received, the Jury will select a maximum of 30 singers of all nationalities, aged between 18 and 35, to participate in the Semi-Final and Final rounds.
• Application period: 1–20 October 2026
• Online application form: Available on the website from 1 October
• Application fee: €25
• Semi-Final participation fee: €40
• Semi-Final: 4 December 2026 — 30 contestants
• Final: 5 December 2026 — 10 contestants
