MR Orchestral Conducting Institute is an international platform for advanced orchestral conducting training, created and directed by Miguel Romea, conductor and professor with more than 30 years of professional experience on the podium and in higher musical education. MROCI is conceived for conductors who wish to develop not only their technical command, but also a deeper artistic, analytical and human understanding of the conductor’s role. Its pedagogical approach combines rigorous score study, practical conducting technique, rehearsal strategy, sound perception, communication skills and leadership, always with a clear orientation towards real professional practice. The Institute offers two main online study formats for the 2026/2027 season running from Sept to June : individual online lessons, designed as personalised mentorship for conductors who require specific artistic and technical guidance, and intensive small-group online classes, conceived as a dynamic working environment.
