Conductor's Week - Dirigentuka

Conductor’s Week is Norway’s largest and most popular conducting course and offers courses at all levels, from beginner to advanced conductors. The course is available to international participants.

This year we welcome the renowned conductor Martyn Brabbins, former music director of the English National Opera, to lead the masterclass with the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra. The masterclass will be held from August 4 to 6 and includes one day of preparation with piano and two days of masterclass with the orchestra in the acclaimed Fartein Valen hall. The participants will be selected after submitting the applicaiton form, including a professional CV and video recording of themselves conducting. The 8 active participants will be chosen after the application deadline on May 1st and will be notified via email no later than June 1st. Course fee: 400 Euro.
